Price Clauses
- Prices are ultimately based on time spent with the dog and one-way travel time. Time can vary with consideration of: coat length and condition, matting/tangles and its severity, de-shedding and severity / additional time to clean up any severe shedding inside the unit, intervals between grooms, dogs behavior, and for senior dogs.
- Additional travel time for special requests to be off schedule or unable to be on schedule with the neighboring clients on the route can affect time.
- $10-40 surcharge is commonly added for breeds such as Doodle mixes, Schnauzers, Cocker mixes, Pomeranians, etc.. These breeds often require additional time due to thick / curly coats or complex scissoring.
- $10-40 surcharge is commonly added for double coated-thick breeds such as German Shepherds, Huskies, etc. These breeds often require additional time for severe de-shedding and may include added time to clean the mobile unit.
- We are willing to work with clients. We are open for ideas such as shorter length, less scissor perfection, or pointers for owners to do at home such as what brush to buy / brushing techniques, when to or not to bath at home can be provided and discussed to help reduce time and cost if interested/needed.
Our Process
1. Please complete our form online to schedule your dogs appointment. It is essential we know of any allergies or recent injuries.
2. We will reply via email or text to gather additional information and schedule the groom. We will also coordinate access to your dog if you will not be home.
2. We map out our routes up to three weeks in advance. You will receive an automatic text from Groomer IO to confirm the date and time. There will be a link you can edit any personal information.
3. Before your dog is groomed, we will confirm how you would like hair clipped, styled and any other instructions you may have. It is essential we know of any allergies or recent injuries.
4. Your dog will then go with the groomer on-board the mobile salon outside of your home. On average, a full groom takes about 1 - 3 hours.
5. We will schedule your dogs next groom when completed. To maintain a healthy coat and skin, pets should be fully groomed on an average of 6 weeks. This will help eliminate additional costs for de-matting and create are more comfortable and positive experience for you pets.
